A Workshop on Connecting to the Flow of Unconditional Love and Support

Tricia Barker will share insights and lessons from her profound near-death experience and offer direct guidance to specific audience member’s questions. Profound near-death experiences often awaken people to deep levels of unconditional love and connection. Tricia will discuss the aftereffects of near-death experiences which sometimes include the desire to be a conduit of unconditional love for all people, heightened intuition, out of body experiences, an increased desire to help others, energy sensitivity, electronic sensitivity, moments of oneness, timelessness, communication with angels, and a longing for constant communion with God. After dealing with these aftereffects and others for over twenty-years, Tricia finally decided to speak publicly about her experiences. She has been using these gifts in classrooms across the U.S. and world to help a variety of students, often in impoverished areas, achieve personal and professional success. Tricia will discuss how families and communities can better support those who have had transformative spiritual experiences and offer guidance to audience members about what the afterlife can teach us about romantic relationships, friendships, career, prayer, meditation, health, and healing.

We all talk to God, but do we listen to God?

This will be a practical interactive discussion on tuning our hearts and minds to the Divine Spirit in everything we do, and experience in this broken world. There are many voices and we need to discern the voice of God consciousness over the noise. It is a great challenge and our most important learning.

Based off her near-death experience, Cherie says that we no longer need to long for Heaven outside of ourselves. We can create Heaven right here, right now. She has utilized her lessons from the afterlife to make a remarkable recovery from cancer, heart failure, and a heart transplant—and step into a place of conscious leadership and impact in the healthcare and business industry. Come learn how you can overcome obstacles, strengthen your resilience, and empower yourself into leadership and the creation of your best life here on Earth.

Wisdom Applied to Everyday Life

Dr. Mary Neal and Mr. Jeffery Olsen team up for a presentation followed by an intimate Q&A session that will focus on how the insights and wisdom gained during their profound near-death experiences can be applied to everyday life; including life for those who have never had an NDE. Both Mr. Olsen and Dr. Neal have experienced physical pain, emotional grief and many of the other challenges life so often provides. But they also know the joy that can be found within those challenges – joy that is the result of applying the lessons learned from their visits to the other side. Please join this dynamic yet pragmatic duo for a rare opportunity to have a candid and open conversation that will give you useful tools to joyfully navigate the ups and downs of your own life. Hear insights from two people who have “been there”.

Three Practical Tools for Constant Spirituality

“We were created to be the means through which the Divine was linked to the physical world, and the physical world was linked to the Divine.” -Emanuel Swedenborg

Anyone who has had an experience where they met “angels” or “beings of light” or “guides” all seem share something in common: they don’t want to leave the company of these loving presences. Is it possible stay with them, even as we live our lives in this world? Can we partner with them in our actions, feelings, and intentions? The first tool we learn in this workshop will show us where to look for this connection, and how to strengthen it every day.

Can just showing up to work in the morning actually connect us to heaven and even to God? The second tool in this workshop puts us in a position to approach even mundane tasks in a way that links us to the whole human race, and can make feeling the presence of love and light as easy as taking the time to get something constructive done.

Why does a sunset make us feel such awe and peace? Why are ocean waves so soothing? Can the sights and sounds, even the smells, that move our souls teach us about something higher beyond this world? The third tool will equip us to see everything around us as a source of spiritual insight--from grand vistas and starry night skies, right down to the water running in your kitchen sink, and yes, even the dirty dishes.

WORKSHOPS - THE OAK ROOM

Workshop 1- Singing Medicine: Group

Robin and John will give Singing Medicine to the group as a whole (in comparison to the Singing Medicine Circle where we sing to each person individually). People who attend our Singing Medicine Group report a variety of experiences. Many are profoundly moved and find renewed creativity for their purpose. Some experience emotional healing, physical healing, and tremendous insight. Many participants directly experience the sacred within themselves and within others in the group. This workshop can inspire NDErs and those who have had Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STErs) to bring forward the gifts they received during their experience in a gentle and private way. This workshop is also a great way to have a Spiritually Transformative Experience.

Come share this high resonance event that dependably creates a sense of communion for everyone in the group. We close by toning together. Participants can always choose if they want to make sound or stay silent while being present with the group.

Workshop 2 - Singing Medicine: Circle

This workshop is for a small group of up to 16 people for 2 hours.

The results for the Singing Medicine Circle tend to be similar to those in the Singing Medicine Group: Renewed creativity for your purpose, emotional healing, physical healing, and tremendous insights. Each person is born with a Medicine Song within them. The Singing Medicine Circle tends to have a greater intensity because Robin and John sing, inspired by this original Medicine Song, to each person in the circle. Each individual song adds to the overall group healing. The singing for another person can be as powerful as your own. Each person will also receive, if they wish, any insights and/or intuitions that Robin and John receive for them. This style of Singing Medicine has been a pivotal life event for many past participants, providing an opening for profound spiritually transformative experiences. This is an especially powerful ceremony of sacred sound.

Just as the Singing Medicine Group, we close by toning together. Participants can choose if they want to make sound or be silent while being present with the group. There will be time at the end to share experiences. We invite you to come be deeply seen and to feel profoundly connected!

Words Between Worlds: Sacred Conversations at End of Life

This hands-on workshop offers exercises that build sacred bridges between the dying and the living through language.

Lisa Smartt facilitates the first portion of this workshop in which she explores the power of words to shift consciousness. We will learn about the different kinds of language patterns that emerge at end of life and discover their “alchemical” properties that can lead to deeper communication with our beloveds and also to a more creative and intuitive life. The very language that often emerges at the threshold is also the language of mystics and poets. Through an exploration of this language, we open new doors to others, ourselves, and the Divine.

Michael Quinn then guides us through the powerful conversation technique called the Release of the Soul. As a hospice volunteer, he encounters patients and families who are debilitated by the toil taken by patient’s illness and they just want it to be over.

The Release of the Soul Technique is a spiritual practice designed to assist the terminally ill in transitioning. It is very important to state that the Technique will not hasten the departure of the soul if the soul is not ready to exit. The soul is the observer and does not fully understand the pain and suffering of the physical body. The Release of the Soul Technique brings this awareness to the soul within, but the soul must decide whether it wants to stay or go back home to spirit.

Michael has found the Technique to be very powerful and appreciated by families. Workshop attendees will be instructed in using the Technique. He believes that eventually everyone will have an opportunity presented to them that can be beautifully facilitated by knowledge of this special Technique.

Embody Your NDE

In the myriad conferences that I’ve attended over the years, I’ve noticed that the times I have taken for internal grounding and listening deeply to other participants are the experiences that I take home with me.

Amid a series of lectures, pausing to ground and remember times of learning from direct personal experience creates balance. In this workshop, participants will have direct experiences of grounding through guided meditation and simple tai chi movements chosen to bring balance and peace as they honor the body.

From my work as a facilitator in the Institute of Noetic Science’s Conscious Aging program, I have seen people enriched by being heard by a listener who is open-hearted without judgment or advice. Being that deep listener is just as powerful as they see how their open-hearted listening brings out such trust in the speaker who knows that what they said is confidential. After a brief explanation of the guidelines for deep listening, we’ll dive into focused questions designed to elicit memories of our own deep experiences.

Sharing with others through deep listening and deeply being heard supports experiences that are rarely expressed. Come embody your NDE and explore new territories.

The Most Important Lessons from Near-Death Experiences: Globally Significant and Personally Relevant

Jeff will discuss recent research on love, light, oneness, God, the afterlife, and meaning and purpose on earth.

Jody will discuss how to achieve happiness by releasing fear and allowing love to come into your life. There will be a meditation/guided imagery experience utilizing lessons from the Near-Death Experience. The purpose of the meditation is to help participants look within their conscious and subconscious fears and/or beliefs about themselves or others that may be hindering their personal or spiritual growth.

Chasing Heaven

Ever wonder why God speaks to some but seems to always be silent in your life? Do you long to understand how God speaks to us and what His voice sounds like? Chasing Heaven will talk about how to hear, truly hear, God’s voice and to find your purpose in this life.

Since Crystal’s incredible experience, her life has been profoundly different. She has become a brand-new person in every conceivable way—heart, mind, soul, and spirit. By dying, Crystal learned how to live. Crystal realized that heaven is real and our true home, but we are still meant to have meaningful lives full of passion and purpose right here on earth. She believes we must chase heaven while we are still alive and allow God to turn our lukewarm love into a firestorm of faith. Chasing Heaven is the story of how God called to Crystal, what He told her, and how she found a way to get closer to Him again here on earth. Crystal assures us that we don’t have to die and go to heaven to ignite our faith. We also don’t have to abandon the lives we have to experience God and heaven. Chasing Heaven is about following the path to the Lord, and discovering your spiritual destiny. The journey that followed Crystal’s time in heaven has been difficult, complicated, and surprising—full of twists and turns, setbacks and triumphs, drama and comedy, and everything that makes life so messy and beautiful.
